Why hello livejournal.
Last time I posted, I was in highschool.
So yea, I am in college.
I go to the Catholic University of America.
And yes...I am Catholic, and no...we're not forced to go to church.
I'm in the architecture school and I love it...so far.
Next semester I start studio which will be the end of my life.
I absolutely love DC, I can't tell you how great it is.
So apparantly i wrote that a while ago and saved it. BAH! so let me make a correction to one of the statements..."I started studio, and it WAS the end of my life". YES. It took over my sleep time, my free time, my friends, MY LIFE. But, I ended up getting Dean's List so I feel pretty accomplished. Even though it sucked, I secretly loved it, which lets me know i'm in the right major.
So, summer 08.
!!!I have an internship at an architecture firm, and i absolutely love it. I couldn't ask for a better job.
!!!I've visited friends from college, like Laura, and WuWu. I love them to death.
!!!I went to a Harry Potter concert, which was probably the greatest experience of my life.
!!!I visited Grace in Florida, which was awesome. We went to a Kansas concert, and boy let me tell you THAT was quite the experience!
!!!I'm going to a Jonas Brothers concert with Kati, and as much as i try to deny it....Joe and Nick are total hotties. I can't deny the dark brown curly hair. i just can't!
!!!Basically I'm dating James Franco, because he's goig to my best friends school. It's complicated...because he doesn't know :] again with the brown curly hair, i need help.
!!!Molly Hughes is probably the funniest person I know
!!!I'm currently reading Breaking Dawn, the fourth book in the Twilight series. It's amazing slash kind of strange. There's a lot of lovey dovey stuff that i enjoy, but at times i'm like OK CUT THE CRAP!
!!!Last week, I was walking along the outside of a shopping center, and I forgot to lock my car. So as I continued to walk, I tried to lock my car from a distance with my keys. Being oblivious to the world, I walked straight into a brick post. The right side of my face was all bloody and disgusting. NICE I KNOW. So my cover story is that I was trying to get to Platform 9 and 3/4 :] Yay Harry Potter.
I'm not really excited about going back to school because i know the work will be hell. but i can't wait to see my friends and be in DC again.

HELLO LIVEJOURNAL. I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you over these past couple of months, I've been PRETTY busy.
The Virginia International Tattoo was a blast. period. I loved every second of it. "He's not Peter Pan Hillary, he's a real boy. He's four years older than you! GROW UP" This year, I was the dance captain for ROI which was splendid. Also, our dance is on youtube...um YEA!
These past two months of school have consisted of me watching movies every single block. So I'm not complaining. Except now I basically have a project due in every single block. yikes.
I can't believe I'm graduating in two weeks. Looking back at my highschool career, I would have to say that I've had 4 pretty awesome years. No complaints. No regrets.
This past weekend I competed in the CCE Feis and I got 3rd place in my prelim competition. I was ecstatic! This reminded me that irish dance is a big part of my life, and I don't really want to completely stop when I go to college.
Speaking of college, I will be attending Catholic University of America in D.C. I'm reeeeally excited to start the Architecture Program. Hopefully I'll do well. At the feis, a mom I didn't even know heard me talking about where I was going next year and sincerely congratulated me. THANK YOU. Seriously, I'm sick of people saying "Oh sucks that Charleston doesn't have architecture" when I tell them that I picked Catholic. I, personally, am very excited for college in general. AND WHY CAN'T YOU JUST BE HAPPY FOR ME.
ANYWAYS, talking about my dance friends gets kind of touchy. Two of my best friends have been hanging out with someone else recently. They do all the stuff we used to do together. This is SOOOO elementary and In NO way is that wrong, it just bums me out.
On a happier note, today was Senior Day. I received the Megan Christensen Scholarship, an NHS scholarship and I was recognized for being Sports Editor. I was so honored to be choosen for those two scholarships, esp. the MC Scholarship. Madame presented the award and I seriously did not expect to hear my name. I'm honored to receive a scholarship in memory of such a lovely girl.
Then I went to the beach and THE END.

WOW. Hey everyone who reads my livejournal! *cricket cricket* Hmm, i guess I'll start with my birthday. I recieved a ginormous balloon structure, an ice cream cake, and POTC fruit snacks from Sarah. Enough said. Blythe brought me two balloons and cookies, did i mention cookies? I have some pretty awesome friends. I found out that I was accepted to the College of Charleston,SC on the 20th of November. I pretty much peed my pants. I haven't officially agreed to go there (since I applied Early Action) but it is the only college that when I visited, it felt right. So YAY. And since then I've also been accepted to the Architecture program at Catholic U. in D.C., which I'm pretty excited about as well. Hopefully I can fly down to Jacksonville to see Grace and her broken rib over Christmas break. We have some serious OC watchin to catch up on. Hm, what else? I like being Secretary of the French Honor Society. I hate Physics. The 5th Harry Potter movie comes out July 13...I'm excited. So bye.

But other than that...Monday I babysat and then went to go see Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby with Mr. Dooley. We love walking into wrong movie theaters and laughing hysterically, it's pretty much what we do. Kyle always makes me smile :). Yesterday I babysat and went to dance, oh so exciting. Today, I'm working on French...for a change. let's make plans to hang :)

Grrrr. I studied for my math analysis test for 5 hours last night and then i get to the test and im like "MAHHHHHHSJJSKKKKKD?!?!!? QUOIIIIIIIIIII!??!". basically. and i went to tutoring during my study block every day! gah. on a lighter note i didnt fail my ap bio test, but it still brought my grade down like 20 points. YUMMY! ANYWAYS... i'm looking forward to this weekend and NEXT WEEKEND. spring break baby! Disney World here I come :)

ok so i guess i update this thing months at a time.
yea.
soooo, the past month in bullets:
*Homecoming Float. i pretty much thank Blythe for EVERYTHING. You made the float happen. i had so much fun :)
*Homecoming Dinner. "I smell like fondue...let's dance!" "Brigitta wants chocolate!!!!" You girls are my fav
*Homecoming + After party was pretty good. better than last year. i had fun.
*My birthday was awesome. thanks for all the wonderful balloons maren and sarah! and thank you to trish for the candy, kelsey and sarah for the gift cards, blythe for the wonderful card and mini sharpee and alexa for madagascar. you guys are my true friends and i love you.
*I saw HP and the GOB at 11:59 on my brithday avec ma mere, it was intense. Then Me and Kat saw Harry Potter and we talked during the whole movie and laughed at everything. she rules. harry potter movies consume my life. and i love it.
*Rockbridge was fun. BB is hott. the end. ummmmm pretty much. I'm glad i met alot of FC people i didn't know before.
*Thanksgiving. i gave thanks.
*Today was NHS inductions, it was alot of fun. Too bad my floawer broke :(
hmmm, i think that's it idono....
I'm not going to Dallas anymore because i have so many projects due next week and i dont think i really have the desire to go anymore :-/ so hang out with me this weekend :)

This weekend was pretty shaboink a doink. Friday i went to the mall w/lexa and we ate food. of course. then we saw in her shoes which was cute. Then we got make-up and left. It's always fun hanging out w/alexa :) Then saturday i had like a million dance things then kat and I went to go see TIM BURTONS corpse bride which was cute as well. Then we went to my house and had ice cream and watched harry potter and SNL and POTO and talked and took a million pictures and videos until about 3:36. it was groovy. today i have homework. and lots of it. sigh.

When i moved to Rhode Island in the middle of 4th grade my class gave me a book with all their signatures in it (along with alot of random old stuff of theirs, i guess for me to remember them by?) And i just found the book like 3 seconds ago. I love how 6 people in the book were like "BFF, WE'LL BE FRIENDS FOREVER!" and i havent talked to them since :( oh well. i will always have the good memories...my favorite being the *NSYNC vs. Backstreet Boys fight. that was fun. And when the boy i had "a crush on" told me he liked me the day i left!!! MERR! haha! and i love how one person wrote "Hi Harlly R.!" :)

School. hmmm what should i say about it. i like a day subjects minus english and i like b day teachers minus larson. pretty much. basically...school is ok. I like going to school and coming back from school with Lexa, she makes me laugh :) Friday was the football game which was fun. i saw alot of PA kids i knew from Saranac but i didn't talk to any of them...haha! i'm cool!! On Saturday i basically did homework the whole day. Sunday i went to Ocean breeze with molly and megan and we visited sarah. It was fun. Me molly and megan are def. making a music video under that mushroom. Today was ok. I was freaking crying at lunch because kyle and i were laughing about our french 2 class. *looks at mittens* and that's it! GO GO GO!!!! haha i love you kyle, you're my hero. Now i'm about to do some homework (i'm sure you wanted to know that) and watch laguna at 10. WHAT WHAT.

hmmmm i can't WAIT for school. sadface. I hope it is better than i think it will be. BUT ENOUGH OF THAT. Yesterday i had dance/worked on ap bio/and went to the movies w/molly and her mom :) THERE ARE ACTUALLY PEOPLE HERE?!? haha. We were the youngest ones in the theater. but it was fun. Today i worked on ap bio with tricia and we went to the beach. There were little dead sharks in a container for sale and it made me sad. make you scream make you SCREEEAM. haha good times. now im "working on ap bio" and i'm about to watch harry potter, the love of my life. I love how me and kat litteraly freak out when we see commercials for it. i love it.
